The baby would lie on her skin while nursing or cuddling, and got a rash from it. I don't know if that's the case with you, but baby's skin is so sensitive, it could be something to think about????? We used a shampoo called Cetaphil, or was it Cephasil? I don't know, one is an antibiotic, one is the shampoo, use the shampoo one. Also use a little baby brush to gently rub when you wash. I tried everything from the store and nothing seemed to make it go away. I even tried elidel from the Dr. but I didn't like using it because it is a steroid. I finally got desperate and tried FreeDerm, it is sold on the internet. The website is looks bad, but the stuff works. I think the jars run about $26.00 - but it is WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I eventually found out that my son was allergic to nuts and I was eating a lot of them when he was breaking out. My doctor told me to stop eating everything that tastes good but I decided to first try bathing him in a odor free emulsion (not sure if that's what it's called in the states) with no shampoo, but still scrubbing his head most every day and then using a fragrance free cream. That helped out right away. It's still comes back now and again, but never as bad, and almost never looks completely gone, but I'm so relieved that works for him.LisAwayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03299284773832500834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11480853.post-20062408762406977062010-04-28T08:39:11.731-07:002010-04-28T08:39:11.731-07:00I use neosporin on the eczema around spots on my k...I use neosporin on the eczema around spots on my kid.
