All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...

No, I'm lying to ya. Movers are coming Wednesday for furniture, but in the meantime I'm supposed to be packing all our doo-dads and what-nots into boxes. Meantime= this very moment. But obviously, I'm not doing it. I did, however, (with the help of Jake's Mom and sister), pack up and move my whole kitchen over on Saturday. So that means I can't cook anything even if I really super-duper desired it. (Sigh of relief.)

In other news, had my ultrasound this morning, and our fetus has himself a willy! And since my boys are wild and loud enough for 2 normal boys each, that means I'll have the equivalent of 8 regular boys (seriously, those of you who have met Ross, Sam and Tom can bear testimony of the crazy in the comments section) that will all live at my house. Plus Jane, who isn't going to be at all pleased with the news, when she gets home from school and I am forced to tell her. There is sure to be a weep, wail, and gnash of some duration, before it works its way into a sour-faced mope. (She's enough drama for 3 average girls.)

Anyhow, little Willy (temporary endearment) looks fine and healthy, if a bit alien, gray, and grainy, which is fab news. Now if only I could stop eating 4 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 2 dinners (plus snack before bed) (oh, and all the ice cream treats), perhaps I could keep this whole thing under 200 pounds?

Reach for the stars, Beeswax.

A boy! Hooray. And I just went and bought red thread today so I can get started on a blanket. What fun.

PS-to your girl. I'm the only girl of many boys, and it definitely has its advantages the older you get:)

Good luck moving whilst pregnant-I can't imagine that it's very fun.

Congrats!! When my youngest brother was born, I weeped and wailed myself. (I was ten.) Then I saw him for the first time, and got over it.

Good luck with the moving and high five for the no cooking!

I think if we put my boys and your boys into the same room some type of natural disaster might occur...I hear ya about the energy levels! Congrats to you!! Don't worry--Jane will survive. I am the only girl in my family and had 3 brothers...the princess I was, for sure.

You're a hoot. A hoot who is apparently pregnant and moving but still a hoot.

Good grief! It hasn't been that long since I checked in, and I find you pregnant AND moving house?! Double congratulations.

WTG! Tell Jane we are sorry for her loss but she will be a stronger woman for what she will go through!

Congratulations!! And good luck with the move!
(Don't give up the ice cream treats, though... that was my favorite part of being pregnant, and since I'm done having babies, I need to know *someone* is reaping the benefits!)

Congrats. You can have Jane ask Melanie for advice. I guess since you boys are equivalent to 2 and your girls are equivalent to 3, then this is the best way to go, right?!

Congrats Kelly! Hope Jane took the news ok :)
Good luck this week. We will catch up in a week or two! Miss ya!

Forget boy or girl--is there any indication of which way his hair is going to go? Are we looking at rugged and dark or Chris Martin-style rock-star?

Your boys are so cute. I can't wait to see this next one!

I agree with Kari - let's hear about the hair! Are there any sort of tests that can be done to determine hair type?

Congrats on boys #7 and 8. I hope daughters #1-3 can survive. She'll never have to share clothes with her siblings. Hair product, yes, but clothes, nope.

Can't wait to be invited to the new pad.

Willy has a willy? I guess that means you'll have to give it 'one more try' after Willy's born for Jane's sake. She'll love you so much more if you give her a sister. Really. I would have. I had 2 brothers...older...boring...no nail polish parties...no talking about boys (creepy thing to do with your brothers)...no sharing clothes. I was deprived I'm telling you. DEPRIVED!!!

Ah, the elusive willy. Something I will never know.

I'll trade you a couple of girls for a couple of your boys. In fact, I'll just give you a couple of girls. I just need you to sign a couple of things stating that you know they're non-refundable, and non-returnable.

Congratulations on boy #4! Boys are great! Of course I have to say that because that's all I have been "blessed" with and that's all I'll ever have! Funny, paying closer attention to you kids names. As mentioned I have boys (4 as well). One named Ross, one named Sam and I won't tell you other two to see what name you come up with! If I had ever had a girl one of our two names picked was Sara Jane. Just thought that was interesting! :)

Kari and Shireen, There was no blonde afro visible on the unltrasound, but it generally takes about two years after birth to really determine which way the hair will go.

Claire, I'll take your cute daughters with the fab accents. Especially that little one, with the hair. She'd fit right in. As per the other comments, we already have the hair products. Send em over.

Lisa, I refuse to even DISCUSS another pregnancy right now. This one has just about put me under. (I'd say I'm getting too old for this, but it was just as hard at 25 as it has been at 36.)

Cindy, Now I am not going to be able to sleep, wondering what your other boys' names are. Oh, wait. I already can't sleep. That's why I'm up reading blogs and eating kids' Halloween candy at 4 am.

Oh, yes! And you can all come over to my new place anytime and see all my boxes. They are lovely!

P.S. We got our phone and internet hooked up, so I'm back on the grid. Same phone number.
