I do enjoy the monsoon storms though. More than I should, maybe. Last night's was a doozy. I could hear thunder and wind from inside the temple. I haven't been outside yet to check for fallen Mesquite trees.
Tonight is another installment of the Ryan Layton Concert Series: John Mayer with Owl City. (Ryan is my younger brother. He is mentally handicapped, works at Target, and enjoys himself some live music.) Monsoons are welcome: we aren't sitting on the lawn this time.
More of the Ryan Layton Concert Series, for you reading enjoyment:
Ok, no time for spell check. Baby is ticked.
Have you seen any good shows lately? Any you wish you'd seen? (Ryan wants to see Paul McCartney, Simon and Garfunkel, and Fleetwood Mac. Hey, a boy can dream.) I am waiting for Bono's back to heal so I can go up to see U2 in Salt Lake, I would like to see the Killers, and I wouldn't miss Coldplay. That was a great show. Maybe Ryan will come along next time.

The storm last night rocked my house too! I love the monsoons! I want to see the Eagles again....would love it!
Concerts are nice and all, but I do believe we were promised a wedding . . . I'm waiting . . .
Not sure after reading this if I am supposed to envy you or feel sorry for you. BTW AZ isn't humid. Call me when your watches start fogging up and then we'll talk humidity. Still I wouldn't trade it for scorpions. Good luck with that!
I'll bet it's pretty humid during monsoon season.
Shows to see--John Ondrasik (Five for Fighting)is about to start a solo accoustic tour. I really MUST see it.
One of the best shows I've *ever* seen was Sir Paul last Spring. Man can that man perform. I just saw a great show from The New Pornographers (were not pornographic in the least) and am itching to go see Arcade Fire.
And FYI, I think seeing Billy or Elton would be amazing regardless but think it would be waaaayyy more fun to go with Ryan so if you guys wind up going, let me know!
Just saw the English Beat and Squeeze. I would have enjoyed more English Beat and less Squeeze but overall it was a great show!!!
So here in Monterey County it has been the coldest summer I can remember. It was 73 today and I felt like I was melting because it hasn't been over 70 in so long. Keeping my fingers crossed that my tomatoes decide to turn red one of these days.....
I moved to Az, Kelly! In Gilbert! Maybe we will run into eachother. :) Just letting you know I am excited for a Sara Bareilles concert in Tempe in Sept. Check it out!! She's amazingly talented.
