Lucky to be alive, obviously.

Sam's kindergarten teacher sent this note home to me:

"Love him! He told us he was on the Titanic, but he was able to escape on a small boat. We were  so relieved he made it out alive."

Reminds me of the time when Jane told her Primary teacher she'd been attacked by a shark.

Ha - love it! Reminds me of the time that my oldest told her classmates that she was going to have heart surgery the next day. Kids are hilarious! Oh, and a little crazy too.

how could his teacher not love him with stories like that? One of the best parts of being in primary is hearing the kids stories like this all the time. As soon as they start, "One time, I..." you know you'll have to smile.

Sweet! He holds his age SO well... what is his secret? Cause you should bottle it and sell it! You would be not only rich but FAMOUS too!

Ah the mind of a Kindergartner. My little K-garten beauty reminded me last night of the first time she met Prince Caspian how they fell in love and how lovely their wedding was. Does she even know who Prince Caspian is? I guess so...she is his wife after all.

Primary teachers get all the dirt! I loved teaching the Sunbeams - I knew EVERYTHING. It was almost like being all powerful... :)

his teacher has told me how much she loves him.

I LOVE that picture, and can't get over that creative little mind! At least he didn't have to float away from the wreckage on a big door and await rescue in the freezing waters. What a hoot!

I hear drowning is one of the worst ways to go. So glad to hear that he made it.

I had Jane in Primary so I know all about her stories. Heehee!
I even got a story about mommy and daddy kissing but lucky for you that one didn't come from Jane :)
Out of the mouths of babes = hilarious and some good dirt on parents.

Ahhh... yes. I have one like that too! He had all his friends CONVICED that I had pink hair and was in a rock band.

They were unpleasantly surprised to find a boring mommy. :)

(BTW, found you through google reader-- hi!!)

Funny! My daughter told her preschool teacher she used to have a brother and a sister but they were eaten by a shark. The teacher was quite concerned as she at first did not believe my Maddie. But when she gave her all the details the teach decided she might be for real! Imagine her concern for our poor family!

You are too dang funny. You're hilarious. Seriously I spent my entire night last night reading your posts and laughing my head off. You should seriously publish your blog, I would totally buy it. Although it does make me feel very inferior on my blog now. I used to think I was a little bit funny, now I just feel super lame! Keep it coming though.
