Every time you go away...

You take a piece of meat with you.

That's how Ryan sings it.
(Remember my brother Ryan?)

So now, this song is stuck in my brain.
Thanks, Ryan.

So then, I looked it up on YouTube, and now I can't get that haircut outta my head, neither.

Apologies, people.

P.S. Speaking of haircuts...

I got one.
I told the lady: "extra long bob."
My Mom said: "You got the Rachel."

Well, I like it.
That Rachel must have been ahead of  her time.
Because if she wasn't, I'm just 14 years too late.

What do you think? Is the Rachel back?

(Now that I'm looking at it, it seems like Heathcliff, from yesterday's post, might have the Rachel, too. Only, he needs a good round brush. His roots need some volume.)

Don't look at my messy kitchen.

I didn't see the messy kitchen cuz I was focusing on the cute sweater.

Speaking of which (kinda) I still need your address so I can send you the blanket that will inspire you to have a child. Just shoot me an email at bdayton07 at yahoo dot com. And PS-you don't have to pay it forward if you don't want to. That was fully not a requirement.

Way cute Kelly! Then again, it's pretty much hard to mess up AWESOME hair like yours.

cute haircut!!! Love it! I love changing it up---don't do it too often but it makes me feel like a new girl when I do!

I thought it look'd like you got it cut on Sunday. Super cute and your hair is so great anyway!! You need to post the purse mexican jail story...I'm still laughing :)

I was too busy coveting your kitchen aid.

Your hair's cute. i'm getting mine cut on Saturday. I'm going to ask if the rachel is back. Knowing my luck, I'll end up getting the Ross.

My husband switches out any lyric that says "World" with "Squirrel." So now, our family is stuck thinking of "We Are the Squirrels," "He's got the whole squirrel in His hands," etc. And to top it off, he uses "Jew" instead of "you"... Not that we're antisemitic or anything, but you may hear "Nothing compares 2 Jews," or "Here without Jews" cranking out in the ol' Van Cleave home.

So now I have "meat" instead of "me" to add to our repertoire. Thanks for that!

Love the haircut! I always love your hair though. I hear the song "Hold me closer tiny dancer" and have always sung "Hold me closer, Tony Danza." So yeah, I love a little word switcheroo in music, it's good fun.

Too late, I already checked out the kitchen. (I'm like that) I say any haircut that "works" is the haircut to go with. Re: song lyrics, remember when Garth Brooks sang "I'm Shamless" My kids would sing "I'm Shaving".

You call that a messy kitchen?

Just like J. Aniston, you've obviously got good hair. It all works.

LOL, pls tell Ryan i am now practicing with the correct word for my next karaoke gig. and if he likes these kinds of things, "I wanna drive your big Suburban" on Beast of Burden; and "Dogs are hazards in the classrooms" on Another Brick in the Wall.
i haven't seen any of your hairstyles in a long time. i'll say that you look foxier now than you did in 6th grade - and even back then i thought you were way more than medium foxy.
thanks for making me laugh so much!
