Kelfari: because I can't call myself a real nerd if I don't have my own book blog, right?

I started a book blog. Because I can't help myself. I want you guys to come over there and tell me when you read something fantastic, okay? Because I need you to recommend stuff. I am tired of wasting my reading time (and my laundry time and my bathroom cleaning time, or for that matter, my blogging time) on cruddy books. I reviewed Gilead over there today, to start.

P.S. Whilst meandering around ebay, looking for some bigger jeans (don't judge me), I came across this photo of the button. You know the one. (See previous post.)

So if you squint real hard, or look at it through the corner of your eye while you hang upside down, it looks pretty tasty, right?

Also, my son's cub scout leader called me 'Junior Mint' when I phoned her yesterday.

Because of past experiences I do not eat anything off the floor and never stick my hand in a bag of chips after the kids have had it. NEVER. It's too dangerous!

The color of that button is definitely Junior Mint!

I'm all over the book blog idea. I am currently watching movies and reading books in tandem. Did The Reader this weekend, and am now on Twilight. Does anyone else do this?

Not only is it the color of a jr mint, it has those highs and lows that mimic light reflecting off the pure cool sheen of a jr. mint. I think your eyes are working better than you think. :)

If they're calling you Jr. Mint, does that mean they should call me Cookie Platter?

Just wondering. I mean, if you are what you eat, then yep - that's me.

Yes, definetly looks like a Jr. Mint. I was thrilled that you took a peek at my blog and left a comment----------surprising how exciting that is. (this is me doing cart wheels with another charley horse lurking)

You already are the boss of me with the books. I just read Guernsey .... because you mentioned it. I'm glad that you now have a book blog - the library queue will be active again!

Of course she did. We ALL will call you Junior Mint next time we see you!

The book blog is a great idea. I'm going there when I have a minute. . .

I'm so glad that no one I ACTUALLY know reads my blog......and then calls me things like 'Junior Mint.' Plus, they'd have to call me 'M&M' and it just doesn't sound as cool.

Very tasty. And cute. A book blog is perfect because I hate spending time on lame books too. You will be my go-to person.

Okay--I will now grant you some leeway on the button-is-junior-mint controversy. I was thinking regular levis-style metal button, but no--along with your fancy pants comes fancy pants buttons that appear to be junior mints.

And they are very cute. Let's just home for the sake of good health that Justin and Junior don't get together and start to make lovely, leathery looking woven mints.

Ok - sorry if I offended you - I love ya and think you and your stories are fabulous! The button is totally junior mint fashion!

Thats definitely a junior mint looking button. Glad you didn't break a tooth...that would be my luck!

I would have totally eaten the button too, 1) I eat things I the floor I guess, and 2) I love jr. mints. Have you tried the inside out ones? those are tasty too. White choc. outside, mint chocolate insides.
