I'M KELLY

This blog started as an online journal, but it turns out that what goes on in my head has very little to do with what actually...goes on.

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley (north LA County) and attended the University of Arizona and Brigham Young University, where I got a degree in History with only twice as many credits as I needed to graduate. I worked for FARMS, which I loved, and at the Arizona Historical Foundation at ASU, which I loved until impending motherhood had me barfing in the janitor's closet. So I quit (twelve years ago) and now I stay at home where nobody asks me crazy stuff about Barry Goldwater.

When I grow up I want to write Mormon History, be a pastry chef, and live in England. Maybe not all at the same time.

My house, in Gilbert, Arizona, contains my foxy husband of 15 years, Jake (seriously, extra foxy), five kids, 12 and under...and me.

With all the blogging, reading, family history, and trying to get into the splitz like I could in third grade, (plus all my other important avocations), it is amazing that my hair gets brushed. It looks rather fetching when it does.
